WOOOOOOT!!!
Finally it has ended.
No one will visit this page anymore. :)
Happy Ending.
I'm looking at one of my first posts about
hakkar."MT down in 10 sec. He hits 1500 per tick and ticks really fast"
.... was I naked or something? lol.
--------------------------
If you still have any zkp left, plz mail me and I'll send u the bijou / coins before they run out.
I'll still keep the idol / scarabs and give to whoever need those.
After a week or two, when no one is claiming items anymore, and if we still have any bijou / coins left, i'll start to giving them out to people who comes to 40-man raid. :)
Well, enjoy the Era of Pugs :)
This is probably the last post for this site.
Thanks for all your support!!
End of ZKP.
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who have been joining our runs for the past 9 month. Without the support of exalts, we won't be able to have such an established system for 20-man raid. :)
However, we have decided to close ZKP / ZGBank for the following reasons:
1. TBC is coming out on Jan. 16th. And I'd like to clear out the bijou / coin / book / scarab / idol ... among other things from ZGBank while they still worth something.
- Players would be able to learn the new spells from lvl 62 trainer, so the books will be worthless by then.
- With new enchants coming out, ZG rep will most likely be meaningless at lvl 70, and so are the coin / bjious.
- With new items, AQ20 Set will become meaningless at lvl 70, and so are the scarab / idol.
2. Since we have officially put BWL and AQ40 first couple bosses on farming status, ZG/AQ drops are becoming less and less attractive for our old members. Most people come for the reps and/or just waiting for one single certain drops. (E.G. the Enchant) And again, those items won't be worth much by the time TBC comes out.
3. The reason for guild run instances are mainly because those instances can't be pugged. Back on the days when UBRS were not easily puggable, I'm sure there were official guild runs to UBRS with Vent and everything.
But this last couple months are what i called "era of pugging". ZG / AQ / MC / Onyxia are being pugged every week on every reset more than several times. The need for an offical guild hosted run seems less needed at this point. (And that's also the reason that we "might" stop MC dkp pretty soon as well.)
------------------------------
The LAST AQ/ZG ZKP run will be hosted on Nov. 28th.After that, We'll still put 20-man raid on schedule.
People who still willing to run ZG / AQ can host the run and invite pugs. My suggestion is put on some restriction items for guildies, other than that, everything can be rolled for. (For example, restirct ZG enchants or certain rare dropped books, Ossi's head... etc. As long as the loot rule is annouced at the start of the run, pugs usually don't mind.)
--------------------------------------------
I'll be start selling the remaining items in ZGBank, and after everything's sold, we'll either split the gold by porpotion of people's remaining ZKP or donate them all to guild bank.
If you want bijou / coins to boost ur zg rep, if you have excessive zkp and would like to claim the item from zgbank for ur alts or sell them, now would be a good time to do it. :)
---------------------------------------
Everything that has a beginning has an end.
ZKP run started on Feb. 13th. and it'll end by Nov. 28th. We've hosted nearly 300 runs with roughly 8000 items farmed, 1000 hours spend in AQ/ZG, 250 in-game characters joined our runs. (OMG, I HAVE NO LIFE)
We've had some really great time together in ZG/AQ. And it's about time to move-on.
Thanks for everyone who've helped in managing / hosting these runs:
Arthena / Xennimera / Eterna / Cirra / Sirhamerlot / Estaras / Curser / Andreidar.
And those with super high attendance:
Serpens / Kerla / Cirra / Arthurxi / Vpower / Slowmo / Sporin.
It is most likely that I've missed a lot of names here, but the list will probably take another page if I list them all. :)
Anyways, enjoy your journey in WoW. And who knows, we might still see ZKP back in TBC. :)
